What size dogs can use the SafeStep?
The SafeStep is built for all sizes — from small breeds that can't reach the boot to large dogs up to 80kg. The wide, non-slip steps give bigger dogs plenty of room to plant their paws confidently on the way up and down.
Will it fit my car?
Yes. The SafeStep works with most cars, SUVs, utes and 4WDs. It leans against the boot lip and folds flat when not in use, so it fits in the back without taking up much space.
Is it easy to set up and pack away?
Very. The aluminium frame unfolds in seconds and requires no tools. It's lightweight enough for one hand, so even older owners can set it up and pack it away without any hassle.
Is it safe for senior dogs?
Yes — it's designed with them in mind. The textured non-slip surface gives older dogs with weaker joints the grip and confidence to step up and down without slipping or straining.
Will my dog actually use it?
Most dogs take to it quickly, especially once they realise it's easier than jumping. We recommend placing a treat on each step to encourage them the first few times.

I received the Campanion&co hard bottom car seat cover as we have leather seats and 2 big Rottweilers. It was easy to fit to the car and the dogs got in well with it fitted. Both dogs travelled well so i am very happy. I highly recommend it to save your cars seats. A great company to deal with too!
Bought this for the car for my 2 American staffy crosses, one’s a puppy who doesn’t sit still, she laid down after getting on this. Its stable base is amazing. Fast delivery too and with warranty!! So glad I bought it.

I havnt tested it yet but it looks and feels great . Gives my dogs extra space in the back due to the hard base. Will test it tomorrow Photo in a vw tiguan for reference
The hard bottom seat cover works very well and fit in to my Ute. It is easy to install/set up. Was a little less sturdy than I expected, however does seat my Labrador (30kgs) comfortably. The Plush Travel bed works amazingly well, and keeps my dog very comfortable.
My 3 rotties are keen for trips to the back and keeps my new car spotless

Our doggie can spread out over two seats and we keep the other area for putting things. She has her pink sheet tucked in over the lovely mat, to keep it clean.
We love it. I have a Mareema sheepdog and he is quite large. He takes up the whole back of my wagon with the seats down so this boot cover works really well😁

Very happy with our purchase.. My 8 month old Labrador Crumpet fits perfectly with room to grow. Love how it still gives me a passenger seat available in the back.
We have in both a small hatch and large 4WD. Fits in both. In the small car the ends are tucked under, the 4WD sides hang down and protect the sides of the seat. All round protection, super easy to clean, we wait till the mud dries then vacume and wipe down. We keep all velcros closed and have only the lead belt clip visible. My pup seem to appreciate the wider spead as well.
Such a great high quality seat cover! Was able to snag a good deal and it was worth the price. Sturdy, looks great and I can tell the pups are a lot more comfortable. We have a baby on the way so we are yet to test using the seat cover with a baby car seat installed. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I’m loving my new car seat cover. It’s completely waterproof and with having the extra seat belt can now have 2 dogs safely harnessed in the back seat. Covers the door beautifully so my dog that’s reactive to other dogs when driving can’t damage the doors. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
